The secret to finding joy when you are not feeling it

Aloha! I hope you’re enjoying your life to the fullest extent, but even so, I’d like to encourage all of you to read today’s blog article: the secret to finding joy in your life.

Power of Joy from Maitraya of Ascended Masters Oracle Cards
“To find your desired outcome, follow the path of joy. Of all the emotions, joy has the highest energy vibration. Joy has the power to remove all obstacles and attract all of your needs. Joy reminds us that we needn’t suffer at all.” —Power of Joy from Maitraya

Joy lifts up our souls; becoming playful, lighthearted, and feeling free is an experience of our spiritual, true self. But people tend to want to be successful, not joyful.

“Life is too short to suffer,” said Tony Robbins in his interview after mentioning that many seemingly successful people killed themselves because they were suffering a lot. What is the point in searching for success if being successful does not prevent you from suffering?

On the contrary, finding joy in your life gets you focus on the moment you live and what you already have, and even attracts more joy into your life. But, do you know the way to maintain the joy all the time? —Yes, there is a way to do it.

An article shared on Facebook attracted my attention the other day. The title of the article was Bhutan’s dark secret to happiness. (I highly recommend you reading this article! As you must know, Bhutan is known as the happiest place on Earth.)

To my surprise, the article has illustrated my dark secret. In short, the dark secret found in Bhutan was the same as mine: thinking about death.

Even though I knew that it was a delusion, I had a fear of suffering. But I felt that somehow thinking about death kept me away from the fear; and as a matter of fact, the article has not only proved it right but also clarified the reason behind.

“Death is a psychologically threatening fact, but when people contemplate it, apparently the automatic system begins to search for happy thoughts.”

It is beautiful, isn’t it? Needless to say, we all have this intelligent, built-in automatic system.

“They (Bhutanese) know that death is a part of life, whether we like it or not, and ignoring this essential truth comes with a heavy psychological cost.”

Unconditional joy
”Archangel Raphael can help you find something to feel joyful about by focusing upon the things you’re grateful for.” —Unconditional Joy from Archangel Raphael

As you now know, death is not a topic to avoid but the one we should more often contemplate, and this is the key to joy!

To avoid depressing days, start this exercise from today: build your mental muscle by thinking about death a few times every day. You will never regret but be grateful, feeling good about yourself and others.
