Aloha! Today’s blog article is for Indigo Children, that is, people who suffer from a sense of responsibility on a daily basis. You’re doing something to shake off that sense, but getting nowhere. I’m going to write about how to set you free from the struggle. And if you’re not an Indigo, I hope that this article helps you to understand Indigos around you.
Indigo Children are born with a delicate and unique sense and soul missions. (If you have a question about who Indigo Children are, read Do you know about Indigo Children?), in which you’ll see how I figured out that I am an Indigo Child.
A long, seemingly endless struggle for fulfilling my soul’s need was there until my mid-thirties: I always had the feeling that I wasn’t doing what I was supposed to do, and this aroused feelings of guilt.
With a sense of responsibility coming from nowhere, I sought the things that would meet the need of my soul: I read books, asked seniors for opinions, shared my feelings with friends, and followed the advice or suggestions given. And after doing something meaningful, I somewhat felt better, but it lasted only for a little while; the feelings came back nevertheless, which often led me to feel even more helpless.
I couldn’t go in the right direction until I realized that the answers I wanted were within me; I should have focused my mind “inwards.”
Once you stop looking for guidance externally but start looking into and talking to your heart, the feeling of guilt that you are not doing what you’re supposed to do will disappear—because you’ll know that you’re getting the right information.
Now, I’d like to guide you with messages from the angels.
“Believe in Yourself” (from Indigo Angels)
First, see yourself as an unlimited person, with infinite potential—this is the most important thing you can do for yourself right now. You may have a doubt or fear about your life and path, but those doubts are part of being an Indigo because you’re strongly affected by negative energy. By believing in yourself, you’re telling the angels that you wish to live up to your full potential, and they will take immediate action to guide you accordingly.
“Admit the Truth to Yourself, and Act Accordingly” (from Archangel Michael)
Second, there’s an important feeling that you’ve been trying to ignore. This feeling urges you to be honest with yourself. Facing this truth will be healing, and it will give you the direction and guidance you seek.
Don’t worry about the consequences of taking care of your inner urging. The angels are guiding you and making sure that your needs are met and your relationships stay healthy.
“You Already Know” (from Indigo Angels)
Third, ironically but truthfully, the answer is something you already know but are denying or require confirmation of. The angels are saying that you have the answer, and you also know exactly what to do to move forward.
Believe in yourself and do what’s best for you. Listening to your inner guidance and trusting your intuition bring only good things into your life.
“You Are Not Alone” (from Indigo Angels)
Last, you are never alone. In this world, there are many other souls with similar experiences. Ask the angels to guide you to like-minded people who can relate to you.
Don’t be afraid to listen to your heart and know what it wants. Trust your inner wisdom, as you can’t fool your heart forever. The sooner you start doing it, the better.
And don’t be scared—because you’ll find peace once you’ve found the truth to yourself.
